ORDERING A BESPOKE RING ONLINE

There are a small selection of unique one off pieces which can be ordered online off the website subject to availability of stock. These are limited edition pieces which are also available at trade shows throughout the year. To find out when is the next trade show is please get in contact via email or follow events on Facebook. This is an opportunity to see the ring before you purchase and talk through alterations if needed in person.

Rings which have been bought online and do not require any further resizing will be valid for a full refund within 14 days of purchasing strictly if they return in an “as sold” unworn condition with no signs of damage.

To order a ring online please email alexandraaurum@gmail.com Alexandra will clarify if the ring is still in stock and its specific size and ring shank dimensions. In the event that a bespoke ring has been sold Alexandra Aurum can advise further on a similar design through email.

MEASURE TWICE CUT ONCE….. RESIZING BESPOKE RINGS

Only rings sold as they are online with no further alterations will be valid for a full refund. As soon as rings are commissioned to be altered to your requirements they are not valid for a full refund.

When requesting to resize bespoke rings purchased online it is your responsibility for ensuring that the ring resizing measurements you have selected are correct.

Asking a high street jeweler to size your finger is a quick and easy way to get an accurate measurement.

If you would like to double check sizing before buying or resizing alterations go ahead please get in contact with Alexandra Aurum via email to inquire about a model sizer ring accurate in dimension and width to the original. There will be a cost of £30 for a sizer ring in your required size, this price will be off set from the final cost of the ring or alteration when the ring sizer is returned. It is advised to return ring sizers recorded delivery as you will have proof of their delivery.

Understandably each ring alteration will be different so an approximated quote will be sent prior to work starting. Ring resizing quotes do not include your post to return the ring to be worked on. Any rings which have been purchased and requested to be altered in size to the customers requirements are not valid for a refund.

COMMISSIONS

As you can see on the testimonial page Alexandra Aurum has made a variety of unique personalised jewellery pieces. The best way to talk through a commission piece is to visit a trade event. Alternatively please request a Commission Order Form via email for further information.

All commissioned jewellery pieces usually take 2-3 weeks, at busier times of the year bespoke items may take 4-6 weeks for delivery. If an item is required on a specific day Alexandra Aurum will do her best to accommodate your requirements.

All gold orders and any bespoke commissions, however, are nonreturnable and nonrefundable.

Alexandra Aurum will recycle gold and stones into new commissions. Upmost care is taken when resetting customer’s stones and through the Commission Order Form customers are aware their supplied stones are set at their own risk.

PAYMENT, PACKAGING, POST

Payment will be processed via email through the Online Order Form which will confirm your order details in full, delivery address and approximate arrival time. Payment is taken through Pay Pal or bank transfer direct to Alexandra Aurum. An email will be sent to confirm payment has been received.

All jewellery items are packaged in Alexandra Aurum boxes, please request if you would like the item giftwrapped.

Once the item is ready to be delivered Alexandra Aurum will email to confirm a date for you to receive Special Delivery which will be covered by full insurance, tracked and signed for on completion of delivery. Please notify Alexandra of any special delivery requirements.

Orders outside of the UK may incur additional shipping costs.

If your items has not arrived in the indicated time or is damaged in transit you must contact me immediately.

RETURN POLICY – POSTAGE

Please contact Alexandra Aurum immediately if there is a problem with any delivered items. It is helpful if you provide a digital photograph of the problem as this normally saves you having to return the goods for inspection.

To arrange a return please email alexandraaurum@gmail.com immediately with your reason for returning the item, your name, address, invoice number and date. Alexandra Aurum requests that you return the item within 7 days of purchasing in “as sold condition”.

If you fail to take reasonable care of goods before they are returned and this results in damage or deterioration, either through mishandling or inadequate packaging on the return delivery Alexandra Aurum will charge for the reduction in value.

If purchased items online show signs of being worn, abuse, damage to the metal or stones and not in their original packaging. In this instance, the goods will be returned back to the buyer at their own cost and a full refund refused.

The item being returned is the customers responsibility until it reaches Alexandra Aurum. Using Royal Mail special delivery which tracked and signed for insures you for the value of the items you have indicated at the post office. Alexandra Aurum cannot take responsibility of returned items being lost in transit.

A full refund which will be processed within 30 days of returning the goods. The customer will only be reimbursed for overall postage costs if the purchased item is proven to be faulty, in this instance the customer needs to notify Alexandra Aurum within 7 days of receipt.

Only UK residents may cancel an online purchase within 7 days of placing the order, provided the goods are returned in “as sold condition” with packaging originally sealed and unopened.

REPAIRS

Please email Alexandra Aurum with an image indicating the repair work needed, Alexandra Aurum will advise further on processing the repair work with specific quotes for the work needed.

METAL PRICES – PRODUCT ONLINE DISCLAIMER

When buying online you are agreeing to Alexandra Aurums terms and conditions.

Alexandra Aurum reserves the right to update or amend the terms and conditions and you agree to be bound by, updates or amendments viewed on www.alexandraaurum.com which will take effect on the day they were posted.

Alexandra Aurum reserves the right to cancel an order if it is out of stock or the goods you have ordered are listed on the website at an incorrect price due to a typographical error.

In the case of any unexpected change in price due to error of fluctuating metal prices, you will be informed and asked to reconsider the order before proceeding. If an order is cancelled you will be notified via email and will be re credited. Alexandra Aurum is not obliged to offer any additional compensation. All prices quoted on the website are in UK pounds.

Alexandra Aurum endeavors to ensure all descriptions and specifications describing jewellery on www.alexandraaurum.com are correct. All information provided by Alexandra Aurum is given in good faith and as accurate as possible for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the goods. Due to the nature of natural gemstones colours may vary. Alexandra Aurum cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour variations of metal or gemstones illustrated on this website.

All items made by Alexandra Aurum are handmade therefore small imperfections or variations may occur. Upmost care and attention is taken when setting the stones customers have supplied but any damage or breakage while setting supplied stones are at the customers own risk; Alexandra Aurum shall have no liability to you for replacing any broken stones or paying for damages.

Sometimes, for reasons beyond control prevention from delivering goods as planned may incur. Alexandra Aurum shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so, or any damage caused to goods delivered by occurrence beyond Alexandra Aurums control. This includes theft, strikes, accident, system breakdowns, fire, flood, war, default of our suppliers.
